Welcome to the dark and violent world of Fear & Hunger! Here you will be able to experience all sorts of cruelty and dismay, roaming around a terrifying dungeon where one mistake may cost you life. So, select your companions and head to the most dangerous and exciting adventure you have ever had.

Keep everything in balance

At the beginning of the game, you will have to make one of the most important choices. Pick up the hero that you are going to control, assuming all their characteristics and abilities. Decide whether you would like to rely on various kinds of dark magic or you prefer to destroy your enemies with sharp swords and exes.

In Fear & Hunger magic is a really powerful weapon, so it is worth learning some spells even if you have selected the class that doesn’t specialise on it. It will allow you not only to damage the opponents in a ruthless way, but also to create new allies and even to cure pretty bad wounds.

In any case, during your journey, you will also have to keep an eye on your hero’s needs. Make sure that they are not hungry or ill and most importantly, check if they are sane enough. Low level of sanity may influence the character’s behaviour and some mechanics as well. Sometimes it unlocks specific abilities, but instead makes the fighter nearly uncontrollable.

Use any means to survive

In this game your main and unchanging aim is to stay alive in one way or another. For this purpose, you may apply the most atrocious spells and perform horrible actions. However, some of them have temporal or permanent consequences that may change the whole perspective of the game.

Anyway, during the dungeon exploration, you will have to face bloodthirsty enemies that will tear you apart unless you defeat them swiftly or run away. Sometimes it is better to save yourself by fleeing, but if you want to fight, Fear & Hunger offers you unusual gameplay.

To execute the opponent, you will need to damage most of its body parts by aiming at them. However, you should consider that the monsters will be doing the same with you. Once you lose an arm or leg, you won’t be able to return it without learning some forbidden magic.

By eliminating creepy mutants and vicious entities, you will gather the resources that will be useful in crafting and upgrading your skills. In addition, each hero has unique abilities right from the start and you may improve them further, using magical scrolls and ancient books.
